Director of Operations, Board Member
Samantha Forir has a degree in Science with an emphasis in Human Anatomy. When she is not keeping the museum staffed or scheduling events, she also enjoys working on fossils in the lab and teaching young minds about our wonderful world.
Treasurer, Board Member
Barbara Houser's interest in the natural world stems from a lifelong appreciation of the beauty around her. In her travels, she manages to always find museums and zoos, as well as natural features of the area.
Brett Houser has been a part of the institute since 209. He helps out by eating unwanted cupcakes after birthday parties. His undying love for fossils is often expressed to the strains of Hall and Oates songs after everyone else leaves.
Wayne Taylor has worked at the Missouri Institute of Natural Science for the past seven years and currently serves as the Educational Director. He loves the thrill of telling the stories of the fossils to the visitors and seeing the eyes of the children light up when they touch a real fossil for themselves.
